Krystal Marie Balm

 Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential hopeful, as a host from the US at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball made the decision to cancel the show in May 2021. This was to allow for them to release Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been featured on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her new political interest to her experiences being a mother in the 2008 primaries. In addition, she witnessed the US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the impact it affected the people of her country and developed an appreciation for the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She hosted The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
